And James you got the big banger, I am mucking around with the Canon 600D that has not got the frame per second fire power, but is a great entry level DSLR (I think....lol) as they say, its all about the glass (lens)......I can see this being quiet addictive too...........have to find time to snap a few of the bikes.......hard with two kids under five and a full time uni student for a wife........

I haven't built anything for three years so I have a bit of catching up to do.

I was lucky (well sort of) as I had the Canon 30D and it was stolen so I was able to upgrade to the 40D, upgrade one of the lenses and also the external flash. Martin is the one with the full blown professional setup. Speaking of photography, watched a preview for the Melbourne Comedy Festival last night and one guy was joking with a 16 year old about how we had to take film to the chemist and then wait three weeks to see the photos. Kids these days don't realise how tough life was for us.

Hope the forks were the only thing damaged Matt. That can be a nasty accident.

F1 carbons.. got the squeak up at Gambier and with a 6 meter gate, not worth risking my Daughters body..
Once the glue lets go on these forks it times to throw away, sad bit is they look brand new.. so that said, anyone after some new F1's.. LOL

ANYWAY, I know what you're saying about the forks it's a shame that they can look perfect but there is no way I would risk my childs well being on it. I really love that you ride with your kids....Very cool, I should get off my middle aged butt.

Yeah you are right Matt - kids and family should be the priority. Our eldest is 20 this year. Seems like she was born 3 weeks ago. Cherish them while you can.

There has been more activity on here the past two days, and that is due to the fallout on Society being discussed. Which makes one wonder...

I'm done with contributing (by posting) to the sites. They're just full of bitching and moaning, and it isn't just (as suggested on Society) isolated to a select few Australians. Some Americans are really good at it.

The only posting I will be bothered doing now, is when I decide to start selling some of my cruisers. My heart just isn't in this anymore.

There is a bunch of good people on these sites, in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, Botswana, etc etc, but there are enough of the negative types making it an unpleasant experience brwosing some of the forums.

I do dig that Profile 24 find that someone posted on Oz. Nice.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My 17 year old son, who hasn't been well for a while, just found out he is Type 1 Diabetic... There sure is more to be occupied with in life..
